Our population is forecasted to double to 5.4 million over the next 36 years. The decisions we make today will impact how our environment will look in the future. Regional coordination and collaboration will become more and more important as we grow. We must consider policies that will support and sustain the environment and quality of life we want 30 years from now. If we proactively take small steps that will accumulate over time, we won’t have to take extreme, costly and reactionary steps later.
